The ReacXon Project

The project is under GPLv3 license.
ReacXon is name of the project that I would be working on during this session. The idea just came as I was listening to music on my PC. Well, it’s quite simple and interesting idea yet a challenging one to execute.

Most of us listen to music with the visualiser on,right? It’s pretty cool that how the pattern changes according to the music .But, what’s more cool than this is -> “if we could create music just by drawing”, i.e. doing just the opposite thing.

For now, I just have made a rough sketch of the project. It mainly deals with time signature and colour detection using ADJD-S311-CR999. Primarily i will be using Arduino as the brain of the project. (Click to enlarge the image below).

“Here’s what i’ve been executing about the idea. There would be a old light ambient white vinyl record rotating on a top. An OHP paper will be mounted on it (removable). Just like old record players, the sensor (instead of the niddle) will be placed at different position over the sheet. As the pattern changes, the output sound changes (which will be pre-programmed over a micro-controller).”

I need your ideas to add-on to the sketch. Please comment and suggest more add-ons to make this project a success. Gracias!
